A remarkable achievement, Arion, a student of the English Language Associate Degree Program at Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed), has won the award for Outstanding Student (Mapres) in Region VI of Central Java. This success allows him to represent Central Java in the prestigious National Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres Nasional).
In a recently held competition, Arion was named the recipient of the Mapres Region VI Central Java Diploma Program, a proud accomplishment for himself, his family, and, of course, Unsoed. This achievement is the result of Arion's hard work and extraordinary commitment, along with the indispensable support from his mentors and the academic staff at Unsoed.
In light of this brilliant achievement, congratulations poured in from various parties. Arion's mentor, Indah Puspitasari, S.S., M.Hum., and the Program Coordinator, Kristianto Setiawan, S.S., M.A., also received appreciation for their contributions and guidance in helping Arion reach this pinnacle of success.
The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) at Unsoed, Dr. Ely Triasih Rahayu, S.S., M.Hum., expressed her pride in Arion's accomplishment. “Arion's achievement reflects the quality of education provided at FIB Unsoed, particularly in the English Language Associate Degree Program,” she stated proudly.
Arion himself expressed his gratitude for the award and thanked everyone who supported him in his educational journey. “This is not just an award for me, but also for FIB Unsoed and everyone who has helped me,” he humbly said.

Students from the Faculty of Humanities at Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed) have once again achieved remarkable success in higher education. This time, two students from the Faculty of Humanities (FIB) at Unsoed, Sekar Hayuning Mutyas from the English Literature undergraduate program and Arion Dwi Saputro from the English Language associate degree program, have been selected as outstanding students for 2024.
Sekar Hayuning Mutyas and Arion Dwi Saputro were chosen based on their academic achievements and contributions to student activities. Both have shown exceptional dedication and accomplishments during their studies at Unsoed.
Sekar's mentor, Ririn Kurnia Trisnawati, S.S., M.A., expressed her pride in her student's achievements. “Sekar is a very talented and diligent student in the field of English literature. I am confident that she will achieve even greater success at the university level,” said Ririn.
Meanwhile, Indah Puspitasari, S.S., M.Hum., Arion's mentor, also expressed pride in her student's accomplishments. “Arion is an outstanding example of dedication and a high learning spirit. I am sure he will be a strong competitor at the university level,” said Indah.
Both students will continue their journey at the university level, competing with outstanding students from other faculties within Unsoed. There, they will showcase their skills and potential to uphold the good name of Unsoed.
